"This is my second custom coat from The Jacket Maker, and after receiving two garments from them, it is clear to me that the quality is absolutely first class. The fact that you can get a custom-made leather garment made at a reasonable price is truly fantastic. No other company, shop or retailer I have come across has been able to give me this option. This likely means that my two coats would have been very difficult to have made if it had not been for the skilled people at «The Jacket Maker». Both coats were made from reference pictures of two of Jamie Fraser’s leather coats from the TV series Outlander. They are high-quality, fully wearable garments made to be used as real clothing. The Jacket Maker has easily become my favourite place to buy leather garments, and as such, it is undoubtedly where I will be coming back whenever I am looking for something similar in the future. "I am very happy with the look and tailored fit of my new leather jacket. The designer was helpful making sure that my measurements were correct. They added a custom fake fur lining for extra warmth. It took six months to make and was worth the wait."

I gave 4, not 5 stars, as I would have liked a slightly looser fit so that I could wear a sweater underneath it (I can only wear it over a t-shirt or thin shirt), but the instructions were to give exact measurements and not to try to allow for this."

90% satisfaction for the new jacket
"Quality of the leather, color, and design are excellent and met my expectations. I am tall and thin, and impossible to find a fit jacket without custom-made. After repeated communications with the consultant to finalize the measurement, the jacket came very well fit my body. The reason I gave 90% was because the toso portion could be a little larger. The youtube video tells customer to wear a fit T-shirt while taking body measurement. This might have resulted in the jacket being a bit tight - if, like me, don't usually only wear a T-shirt underneath. I normally wear T-shirt, plus cotton shirt or even a thin sweater too. Therefore, my suggestion to TJM and perhaps other potential customers is to measure with the clothes you normally wear underneath the jacket. I would definitely buy from TJM again."
